How is the pricing charged?

Rates are all inclusive per request regardless of passengers and rendered based on average cost recovery rate for drivers. SwiftBack BETA does not incur any credit, fees, hidden surcharges or demand surge. Probably the most transparent and concise ride – sharing app out there.

How do I make my payment?

Card: Payment will be deducted from your credit card automatically after each ride is completed.

Cash: Driver will collect cash from you at the destination.

How do I contact the driver?

You may contact the driver via the message or call button on the ride screen.

Passengers per request

You are allowed up to three passengers per request. However, please inform the driver of any additional passengers in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

How many stops per ride?

It is expected that passengers are entitled to one destination per ride accepted with no changes upon accepted pickup. However it is up to the goodwill of the driver to make a detour for additional stops.

How do I cancel a ride request?

You can cancel a pending or confirmed ride request by swiping left and tapping on the revealed button. (Click here for screenshots)

Is SwiftBack regulated?

Safety and Security

Although SwiftBack operates as a social platform to connect passengers and drivers, SwiftBack goes the extra mile in paying colossal emphasis in passengers safety. Drivers on the app are verified prior to approval. There is also an option for same gender ride matching for female passengers.

Here are some carpooling guidelines and etiquette for using SwiftBack :

  • Take the front seat if possible
  • Be punctual to committed timing
  • Don’t eat or drink in the vehicle
  • Don’t smoke in the vehicle

Driver’s FAQ

How do I receive my payment?

With effect from 1st Sept 2016, all card payments will be received on a 7 days rolling basis. This means that all card payment would be received within 7 working days from the date of pickup, without the requirement to cash out or wait for a monthly collection. Kindly refer to this article for more information.

Where do input my payment details?

Contact us at support@swiftback.com to change your bank details.

How do I get verified ?

You can complete your verification via https://swiftback.com/verify by uploading supporting documents including a photo of your drivers license, vehicle photo and vehicle insurance.

What are the steps to accept a ride request?

How do I contact the passenger?

You will receive a reminder via push notification to pick up the passenger of the confirmed request 20 minutes prior to departure time. There will be a call and message button on the ride screen.

How many passengers per request?

By default, drivers are to be able to accept up to 3 passengers at any one time. However, please inform the passenger of any additional changes in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

Can I accept multiple request at a go?

You can accept multiple scheduled pickups from the “advance request”  tab however you can can only carpool one request at a time.

Is there a penalty for canceling of rides?

Drivers may only cancel up to a total of 3 times a month, after which they will be declined to accept anymore rides for that month.

How do I become a driver?

Becoming a driver is simple , all you have to do is download the app here  and register via the app and submit supporting documents here . Registration only takes 40 seconds.
